biotype newspaper

This is a collaborative project between the DesignInquiry 2015 fellows. The digitally printed newspaper reflects the efforts of six designers working in pairs and contains an interview between Arzu Ozkal and Tricia Treacy as well as writing by Margo Halverson.

I worked with Arzu exploring the design process through the idea of controlled v. organic growth. Arzu and I worked back and forth assuming the god-like roles of growth and decay, of generation and reduction. Through this back and forth we developed a series of designs which we decided to present as a cohesive documentation.
